About Chris Drew

Hi, I'm Christine, But please, call me Chris

I live in a sunny corner of South Africa with my four wild little unschoolers. This life, of barefoot children, gentle rhythms, and sacred work, has been shaped by one desire: to stay close to what matters.

Twelve years ago, after the birth of my son, I knew I couldn’t follow a conventional path. I wanted to be there for every moment, every milestone. So I built a work-from-home business from scratch, fuelled by equal parts necessity and devotion. That was the beginning of my journey as a web designer.

Since then, I’ve married again, welcomed three more beautiful children, and crafted dozens of websites for heart-led women around the world.

I believe websites can be sacred spaces.

My work is rooted in more than just design, it's a reflection of the things I hold dear:
gentle parenting, conscious birth, slow living, and soul-centred business.

The birth of my first child led me into attachment parenting, and years later, I found Aletha Solter’s Aware Parenting. Her work has been a balm in my life, and I’m slowly working toward becoming an Aware Parenting Mentor.

I also trained as a birth doula, holding space for mothers as they cross that sacred threshold. Though I’ve stepped back from birthwork while raising young children, the transformation from maiden to mother remains one of the most tender mysteries I hold dear.

Aletha Solter's Aware Parenting is the balm that this world needs

My path to this work has been anything but linear.

I studied English Language and Literature through UNISA, worked as a school secretary, then as a teacher, and eventually stepped into the corporate world, sales, account management, and project management in fast-paced Johannesburg.

And still, I’ve always been the one figuring things out. The techy one. The one who fixed the printer. The one who made things beautiful. I took a graphic design course in high school and never stopped creating.

I’m a self-taught web designer, something I used to shy away from saying. Now, I wear it proudly. Because my path has taught me what no course ever could: how to listen deeply, how to hold space, and how to translate someone’s essence into a digital home that truly feels like them.

I work with women who are guides in their own right, healers, mentors, space holders, creatives. Women who want their online presence to feel calm, clear, and quietly powerful. If that sounds like you, I’d love to co-create something sacred.
